A weekend guide in Valencia 21-22 February

It will be sunny in Valencia this weekend, with temperatures reaching up to +21°C.

🎶 Listen to organ music
On 21 February at 11:30, the Palau de la Música will host a concert by renowned organist Arno Hartmann, a member of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra and professor at Bochum University (Germany). The programme is dedicated to Bach.
Free entry, but tickets are required and can be collected via the Palau de la Música website or at the box office.

🧟‍♀️ Join a zombie apocalypse
On 21 February at 23:00, the streets of Ribarroja del Turia (Valencia province) will turn into a giant game zone for the immersive zombie quest Love Zombies.
Participants will face around 15 challenges and cover up to 25 kilometres across the town. Streets will not be closed, so organisers stress the importance of following safety rules and being mindful of your physical condition.

🛵 Catch a scooter parade
On 22 February, Vespalafalla 2026 takes place — a large-scale morning gathering of classic scooter lovers, bringing together more than 1,100 Vespa and Lambretta models.
The event starts at 8:00 on Calle Lérida, 1 and runs until 15:00, followed by prize-giving and a raffle.

🔥 Attend the official opening of Fallas
Crida 2026, the official opening of the Fallas festival, will take place on 22 February. It begins at 19:30 at Torres de Serranos.
After a light show, there will be anthems and official speeches, followed by an invitation from the Fallera Mayor and Fallera Mayor Infantil to kick off the festivities.

The evening will end with the “Fire at the Towers” light show by Pirotecnia Caballer and the traditional floral offering to the Virgin of the Forsaken (Virgen de los Desamparados). The full programme is available via the link.

🐉 Celebrate Chinese New Year
Festivities begin at 12:00 near Torrent Avinguda station. Throughout the day, visitors can enjoy cultural activities, artistic demonstrations, workshops and food trucks serving traditional Chinese cuisine.
The highlight is a fiery parade starting at 18:00, moving along Avinguda al Vedat from the town hall to Plaza de la Unión Musical.

🛍️ Shop vintage fashion
On 22 February from 10:00 to 15:00, Mercado de la Valvanera will host a flea market with a lot of clothes.
Everything costs just €1.

🚢 Walk through the Titanic
At Centro Realidad Virtual (Carrer de Russafa, 41), the VR exhibition Titanic: A Journey Through Time is open. With VR headsets, visitors can explore the corridors and decks of the legendary ship. Tickets are available online.

Watch football
The match Valencia vs Villarreal kicks off on 22 February at 21:00 at Estadio de la Cerámica.
The home side is having a strong season and rarely drops points at their revamped stadium. Close proximity to the pitch, intense acoustics and passionate local fans make it a truly memorable experience. Tickets are available here 

🏁 Head to the races
On 21 February, the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Cheste (Valencia province) hosts the third round of the Porsche Sprint Cup Southern Europe — a winter one-make series featuring Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars.
The day starts with practice and qualifying sessions (09:00–11:50), followed by four 30-minute races: Sport 1 (13:00), Club 1 (14:15), Sport 2 (15:30) and Club 2 (16:45).
