WHAT TO EXPECT
Expect mild temperatures of up to 20°C and cloudy skies; strong winds will blow over the weekend. A red weather warning is in place for Castellón on Saturday, 14 February, with orange alerts issued for Valencia and Alicante.

Several outdoor events scheduled for Friday have already been cancelled, including the Russafa carnival and the Chinese New Year parade. Further cancellations may follow depending on conditions.

FRIDAY 14 FEBRUARY – VALENTINE’S DAY

Candlelit music at El Saler

The setting promises a warm, intimate atmosphere — and includes a live marriage proposal, with a pre-selected couple taking part during the concert.

A romantic dinner at Casino CIRSA Valencia
Casino CIRSA Valencia is serving a special Valentine’s menu from 10 pm. The evening begins with Luna de Mar Moscatel white wine, followed by grilled scallops with foie gras and charcoal salt, baked fresh fish with creamy seafood sauce, and slow-cooked beef cheek with sweet potato cream, paired with Luna de Mar Tempranillo & Merlot. Dessert is Flan de Mistela 1000 Besos Merlot with baked apple ice cream, plus coffee and herbal teas. Price: €54.96 per person.

Live music: Boombox
Ukrainian band Boombox play Sala Madison Concert Club at 8 pm. Known for blending funk, hip-hop and rock, the group promises a high-energy show alongside their signature lyrical tracks in Ukrainian.

Immersive art at Santos Juanes
