What to do?
⛸️ See Disney characters on ice. The Roig Arena is hosting the first Disney On Ice show: Vive tus Sueños. The programme includes a journey with Mickey and Minnie Mouse, scenes with characters from Frozen, Beauty and the Beast, Rapunzel and Cinderella. There are several performances on 7 and 8 February. 🔥 Visit the Fallas figure exhibition. The traditional Exposición del Ninot exhibition has opened in the Arquerías hall of the City of Arts and Sciences. It features figures made for the Fallas festival and burned in March. Each visitor can vote on which figure should be saved from the fire. The exhibition is open both days from 10:00 to 21:00. Tickets cost €4, and €2 for children aged 4 to 12 and seniors over 65.
🎶 Listen to Tchaikovsky. On 8 February at 12:00, the municipal symphony orchestra will perform at Plaza de la Reina in honour of the 600th anniversary of the completion of the Torre del Micalet. The programme includes a performance of Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture with bell chimes and fireworks. The programme also includes Miguel Asins Arbó's Valencian march "El Micalet", and Salvador Giner's symphonic poem "Es xopà hasta la Moma."
🧺 Visit the fair in the Campanar district. The district celebrates the holiday of its patron saint, the Virgin de Campanar. A fair with handmade products has been set up in Plaza de la Iglesia and the streets of Virgen de Campanar, Barón de Barcheta and Obispo Soler. It is open on 7 and 8 February from 10:00 to 14:30 and from 17:00 to 22:00. Today at 6:00 p.m., there will be traditional Valencian dances, and tomorrow at 12:00 p.m., there will be bell ringing and paella cooking over an open fire.
🌟 Visit the best light installation in the world. The Bombas Gens Digital Arts Centre is hosting the largest light art exhibition in Valencia's history, ‘Universes of Light: Perception and Space’. It includes the immersive light installation Umbral (Verge), which won the award for best in the world in 2025. Entrance is free for children under 6, and there is a 15% discount for groups of 4 to 10 people. Tickets for people over 6 cost €13.50. You can buy them at this link.
🛍️ Shop at the vintage clothing market. On 8 February at 11:00 a.m. in the Russafa district at Calle Cabo Jubi, 4, a flea market with clothes, books and decorative items will open.
🚢 Take a walk on the Titanic. The Centro Realidad Virtual (Carrer de Russafa, 41) is hosting the exhibition Titanic: A Journey Through Time. With VR glasses, you can walk through the corridors and decks of the legendary liner. Tickets can be purchased here.
🖼 See Sorolla's paintings. The Banca Foundation is hosting a unique exhibition, Sorolla: Masterpieces from the Sorolla Museum, featuring dozens of the artist's works brought from Madrid. You can see ‘Walk by the Sea’, ‘Horse Bathing’, ‘Siesta’ and other paintings that are rarely presented in a single exhibition. The exhibition is open from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 16:30 to 20:30. ✨See an immersive show. The Church of Los Santos Juanes has finally opened after five years of restoration work. Almost €10 million was spent to restore the church to its original appearance. The building hosts a 15-minute show with projections that transform the apse of the church into a canvas and recreate the works of Antonio Palomino, destroyed by fire in 1936 during the Civil War. ⚽ Feel like a football player. During the weekend, you can go for a tour of the Valencia CF stadium, Mestalla. You will be taken through the changing rooms, the press area and the trophy room, and you will also be allowed onto the pitch. The tour lasts about an hour in Spanish and English.
