From 4 to 14 June, Valencia will once again become the setting for the Ruta de Tapas Turia gastronomic trail. Over 11 days, 34 venues from different districts of the city will pay tribute to traditional Valencian cuisine. Each venue will offer its own signature take on a tapa, accompanied by a Turia Stark beer. The set will cost just €4.50.
The route will cover bars and restaurants scattered across districts such as Patraix, Russafa, Cánovas, Ciutat Vella, Benicalap, Algirós, and El Cabanyal. Each venue will reinterpret traditional recipes, offering new presentations and culinary techniques.
Among the standout offerings are fried cabbage croquettes with white sausage from Cal Carrero, toast with pine nuts and aioli from Sacacorchos, titaina (a spicy vegetable stew) from Petraher, stewed squid with onion from Torre de 1990, a mosset de la Terreta of Valencian sausage from La Madriguera del Topo, and traditional El Cabanyal titaina from Mi Cub, as well as potato salad on toast with fried pepper from Bar Doblet.
All the tapas options and a map of the venues included in the gastronomic trail can be found here.
