Valencia's Hundred Burgers chain has topped the international ranking The World's 25 Best Burgers for the third consecutive time. The ranking is compiled by the Swedish platform Burgerdudes, and three wins in a row is an absolute record in the history of the list. Since 2014, Burgerdudes experts have visited more than 1,000 restaurants in 65 countries.
The story of Hundred Burgers began in 2017, when brand founders Alex González-Urbón and Ezequiel Malgián travelled to New York to eat 15 of the city's best burgers in four days. They then went on to London, Paris, Los Angeles, Dubai, Buenos Aires, and Berlin. In 2020, the project became a fully fledged restaurant business. The brand now has seven locations across Valencia and Madrid.
The concept rests on two key elements: Galician Blonde beef aged for 60 days, and a signature bun that combines the softness of brioche with the structure of a Japanese milk roll. Among the highlighted menu items are the Loser burger with caramelised onion and gochujang sauce, the Satisfaction with crispy bacon and smoked mayonnaise, and the limited-edition Paul Finch made from ribeye aged up to 120 days. Prices range from €12 to €14.
The top 25 also includes Madrid's Briochef (15th place) and BDP Burger (21st place), while Valencia's Soul Coffee made the top 10. Only the United States had more entries in the ranking than Spain. Second place went to Holy Burger from São Paulo, Brazil, and third to the legendary Au Cheval, with locations in Chicago and New York.
