Ricard Camarena has opened a new bar in the Cabanyal district — NO BAR. For several days, the establishment operated only in the mornings, but today it switched to a full schedule — from 9:00 AM to midnight.

Camarena is one of the city's most famous and decorated chefs. His Ricard Camarena Restaurant holds two Michelin stars, and the chef himself has built an entire ecosystem of projects in Valencia over recent years — ranging from fine dining to more casual formats. Every new opening of his attracts the attention of food enthusiasts.

The kitchen operates without a break, which sets the establishment apart from many traditional Spanish spots that close for siesta or follow specific split shifts. There are no reservations; guests come without an appointment and take a seat as available. The chef presents this as a conscious decision and part of the concept — to return the bar to its original essence: a place where you can grab a bite at any time without extra complications.

Many popular bars and restaurants in Valencia now operate by appointment, with fixed seating times, limited kitchen hours, and rather strict rules (for example, a mandatory dish order for every guest at a shared table). NO BAR, on the contrary, is designed as a space free from such a format.

The bar is located in two spacious rooms with a modern, minimalist interior in grey tones, featuring plenty of metal and windows overlooking the building's green inner courtyard.

The menu is based on typical Spanish bar food but with a signature twist. They serve bocadillos — sandwiches in a crispy baguette, a staple of local everyday dining — with fillings you won't find in the chef's other venues. You can try a bocadillo with roast beef and "Café de Paris" sauce, Iberian pastrami, blanquet i negret (white and black sausage), or a "matrimonio" with esgarraet (two types of anchovies with a salad of roasted peppers and salted cod). The average price for such a bocadillo is 9–12 euros.

Until noon, NO BAR serves "almuerzo valenciano" — the traditional Valencian late breakfast with a bocadillo and coffee. They also serve "cremaet" — coffee with rum, sugar, cinnamon, and citrus zest. After 12:00 PM, the second part of the menu opens with appetisers and hot dishes.

NO BAR is located at Arquitecto Alfaro, 44, in the Kora Lluna space building. It is pet-friendly, and the kitchen is open until 11:30 PM. More detailed information can be found on the official website.
