Madrid has launched a new culinary guide designed to help residents and visitors discover exceptional restaurants outside the usual tourist centre. The project, titled Todo Madrid para comérselo, is a joint initiative by the Madrid City Council and the Madrid Academy of Gastronomy.

The campaign features an interactive map showcasing 15 spots across various districts of the capital—ranging from historic family-run taverns to modern gastro-bars and avant-garde projects. The curators aim to prove that Madrid's most exciting flavours are often found tucked away in local neighbourhoods.

Each spot on the map includes a detailed description, signature dishes, essential visitor info, and a QR code for easy navigation.
