Valencia will bid farewell to 2025 with a large-scale New Year’s Eve celebration featuring three simultaneous fireworks displays. At 11:59 pm on December 31, fireworks will light up the sky from several locations across the city.
The pyrotechnic show will cover Valencia’s city center and the former Turia riverbed. The displays are being produced by Pirotécnica Vulcano, with confirmed launch sites at Plaza del Ayuntamiento and Section XIV near the Rose Garden of the City of Arts and Sciences.
Thousands of locals and visitors are expected to gather at Plaza del Ayuntamiento, where the fireworks will mark the climax of the New Year’s Eve program, accompanied by live music and the traditional countdown to midnight. The display near the City of Arts and Sciences is expected to offer a calmer, more relaxed atmosphere.
The location of the third fireworks launch has not yet been officially confirmed. Various sources mention possible sites including Puente de Monteolivete, Section VI near Torres de Serrano, and Section IX between Puente de las Flores and Puente de la Exposición. Final details are expected to be announced closer to New Year’s Eve.
Festivities at Plaza del Ayuntamiento will begin earlier in the day. From 11:00 am to 12:30 pm, the square will host a children’s New Year celebration with bells, confetti, and a festive atmosphere. Evening celebrations will follow, with live music and DJ sets scheduled from 10:30 pm until 1:30 am.
