As part of the Gran Fira de Valencia 2026, Valencia's city council is relaunching the "Sunset in the Albufera" activity. It's a chance to travel to the natural park for free, stroll through it with an environmental guide, and take a boat ride across the lagoon at sunset. Registration opened on June 22 at 3:00 p.m.
The route runs through the Albufera Natural Park in the Gola de Pujol area. Participants are taken by minibus from Valencia to the dock, and along the way, the guide talks about the natural park. Then comes a walking route around Gola de Pujol and the Estany de la Gola de Pujol, finishing with a boat ride across the lagoon at sunset. The tour will be conducted in Spanish and Valencian. The return transfer to Valencia is included. The duration is roughly from 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
The activity runs on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from July 1 to 23: July 1–2, July 6–9, July 13–16, and July 20–23. Each session is limited to 22 participants, and spaces are limited.
Each form allows a maximum of two adults and four children to register. Spaces will be allocated strictly on a first-come, first-served basis until all available places are filled. Those who don't get a place are automatically added to a waiting list. Confirmed participants will receive an email with details and must confirm their attendance. If no reply is received, the organisers will try to reach them by phone before offering the place to the next person on the waiting list.
You can sign up for the tour via the official Valencia City Council form on the website.
