The city authorities of Valencia will raffle VIP invitations to the balcony of the town hall, from where you can see the fireworks during the Fallas festival. This year, the municipality will distribute 340 seats. Ten double invitations will be raffled off each day.
Registration for the draw will open on 9 February at 00:00 and will last for just three days, until 23:59 on 11 February. Applications can only be submitted online on the official website of the city hall.
Fireworks can be viewed from the balcony from 1 to 19 March, except on 8 and 13 March. The conditions for participation are minimal — you must be over 18 years of age and officially registered in Valencia. All applications are automatically checked, and the winners will be determined by a computer system randomly. Notification of the win will be sent by email.
The invitation will be personal and non-transferable, but the winner may bring one guest. If the fireworks are cancelled on the appointed day due to snow or rain, the ceremony will be rescheduled.
Last year, nearly 19,000 applications were received, but more than 7,000 people were not allowed to participate in the draw due to a lack of registration or age requirements.
