Ninot Indultat 2026 Winners Announced in Valencia

In Valencia, the Ninot Indultat 2026 was announced. These are figures that, by tradition, will be saved from the fire during the final night of Las Fallas. The winner in the large figure category was the falla ninot Sueca-Literato Azorín, receiving 9,475 votes out of 60,235 cast by visitors to the exhibition held at the City of Arts and Sciences.

The figure was created by artist Pedro Santaeulalia and is part of the Onírica falla. It is dedicated to the theme of stolen childhood and its incompatibility with war. This victory was the first in the large falla category for the Sueca-Literato Azorín commission. For the artist himself, it was already his second such prize — he previously won it in 1997.

The figure was created by artist Zvonimir Ostoic (Zeta) based on a design by Ramón Pla and is part of the children's falla Arca. El viatge de Pepet.
