The City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia will once again host the popular spring cycle Un Lago de Conciertos ("A Lake of Concerts") — a series of free open-air performances that draw hundreds of spectators every year. In 2026, the programme kicks off in late March and will run until the end of April.
The performances will take place on the open stage by the Science Museum, located on the northern promenade near the Turia Gardens. Concerts are held on Thursdays and Fridays, and admission to all events is free.
The first performances are scheduled for 26 and 27 March, followed by concerts on 9, 10, 16, 17, 29, and 30 April. All shows begin at 19:00.
The main performers will be students from Berklee Valencia, the international campus of the prestigious music college. Young musicians from 40 countries will take the stage, presenting a wide spectrum of genres ranging from jazz, blues, and soul to flamenco, funk, folk, and Latin American music.
Valencia has many exciting events in store this spring. On 4 April, the city will host a concert by the cult Saint Petersburg rock band Animal Jazz. The musicians will present a unique new programme — for the first time, the band's best songs will be performed in a "voice, electric piano, and cello" format. Tickets can be purchased here. Our readers can use the promo code cotorra for a 5% discount. Check out other events this spring in our listings.
