The French fashion house Louis Vuitton has temporarily changed address in Barcelona. While its main boutique is under renovation, the brand has opened a new store at 71 Passeig de Gràcia.
The store has two floors and showcases men’s and women’s collections, jewellery, watches and iconic leather goods.
Inside, there are high ceilings and a light palette that set the tone, with the use of warm natural materials. The design has been created by the Objets Nomades studio, and the overall atmosphere is elegant yet relaxed.
Louis Vuitton’s relationship with the Catalan capital stretches back almost a century. In 1929, the brand received an award at the International Exhibition in Barcelona for its travel vanity cases. Louis Vuitton's first Spanish boutique opened in the city in 1987.
If you are looking to shop luxury labels at more accessible prices in Valencia, La Cotorra suggests El Vestidor Vintage, where you can find Hermès and Chanel bags, Dior coats and Loewe leather jackets.
The shop is considered one of Valencia’s key vintage destinations. Its collection is carefully curated and regularly renewed. According to the owners, thousands of pieces sourced from around the world are brought together here, with every item thoroughly checked, making an encounter with poor-quality clothes impossible.
