Valencia has developed a programme of cultural routes for families with children. Tours will take place every Saturday throughout July. Participation is free, but advance booking is required.

The language of the tours is not specified — we recommend checking when you book by phone.

Each week, participants can immerse themselves in a different period of the city's history:

1. Camins Antics. Roman and Visigoth Valencia

4 July, 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM

Starting point: Plaza de la Virgen, in front of the façade of the Basílica de la Virgen (at the monolith)

Programme: a journey to the city's kilometre zero. Visits to archaeological sites tell the story of Valencia's founding and its development during the Visigoth period.

2. Camins Medievals. Medieval Valencia

11 July, 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM

Starting point: Plaza dels Furs (behind the Serranos Towers)

Programme: a climb up the Serranos Towers, an introduction to the significance of the guild system and the Silk Exchange, and a visit to the palaces of Valencia's historic centre — a city that was the heart of the Mediterranean during its Golden Age.

3. Street Art in the Historic Centre

18 July, 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM

Starting point: Plaza dels Furs (behind the Serranos Towers)

Programme: a walk through the world's largest open-air museum — the street itself. An introduction to styles of street art, the work of the most influential artists in the Carmen neighbourhood, and a reflection on the role of graffiti in shaping the identity of urban districts.

4. Camins Inèdits. The Unknown Historic Centre

25 July, 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM

Starting point: Plaza dels Furs (behind the Serranos Towers)

Programme: a walk through corners and places that usually go unnoticed. Architectural curiosities, stories from everyday life, and overlooked spaces that hold the city's hidden face. A route for those who can see what is not immediately visible.
