Valencia will once again host the gastronomic festival Fiesta del Queso, dedicated to the culture of artisanal cheese. After a successful debut last year, the event returns for its second edition — with a larger space and an expanded program. This time, the festival will take place from March 27 to 29 at Mas Masiá on Plaza de la Merced.
Nine specialized producers will take part, presenting artisanal cheeses from different regions of Spain — Galicia, the Basque Country, Extremadura, Catalonia, Aragon, Castile–La Mancha, and the Valencian Community — as well as cheeses from France.
Guests will be able to taste and purchase a variety of cheeses — made from cow’s, sheep’s, and goat’s milk — including fresh, aged, and signature varieties. The festival will also feature products that pair perfectly with cheese: honey, olive oil, dried fruit, dates, jam, sobrasada, beer, and wine. Cheese empanadas and cheesecakes will also be available.
The festival will run daily from 11:00 to 15:00 and from 17:30 to 22:00, and entry is free until the venue reaches capacity.
