The Fallas festival has already begun in Valencia and will run through 19 March, when the traditional final burning of all monuments takes place. In 2026, the city will host 764 fallas monuments — 382 large ones and 382 children’s ones. Most of them will be fully on display from 16 March, once installation is complete.
Visitors and locals are advised to focus first on the Fallas de la Sección Especial — the largest and most expensive monuments, created by commissions with the biggest budgets and competing in the top category.
Other must-see fallas include:
• Falla del Ayuntamiento de Valencia — the traditional monument on City Hall Square. It does not compete and serves as the main symbol of the festival.
• Falla Convento Jerusalén — Matemático Marzal — one of the city’s most famous (and most expensive) fallas, located near Estación del Norte.
• Falla Plaza del Pilar — the monument on Plaza del Pilar, often called the “cathedral of Fallas” because of its scale.
• Falla Na Jordana — one of the most original fallas in the El Carmen neighbourhood.
• Falla Sueca — Literato Azorín and Falla Cuba — Literato Azorín — two well-known fallas in Ruzafa, also famous for their light installations.
• Falla l’Antiga de Campanar — one of the main contenders for the Sección Especial title.
• Falla Manuel de Falla — Tamarindos — a monument in Campanar that is expected to be among the largest fallas this year.
Organisers recommend visiting the most popular fallas early in the morning to avoid long lines and crowds. You can also purchase a pass that allows entry to some of the biggest and most expensive monuments. Tickets are available on visitvalencia.com or at the Oficina de Turismo (Calle de la Paz, 48).
To find the fallas closest to you, you can use a map. There are several options: an official map from the city authorities, as well as a third-party website that also includes navigation for all Fallas events. You can also download the Fallas 2026 app for Android or the Fallas 2026 app for iOS, both of which include a map with all monuments marked.
