An exhibition titled Huellas Urbanas (“Urban Footprints”) by artist Inna Krause will take place in the historic centre of Valencia, offering visitors an unusual way to look at the city — quite literally under their feet.
The project is dedicated to elements of the urban environment that usually go unnoticed: cast-iron manhole covers. Using a direct imprint technique, the artist transforms these utilitarian objects and examples of industrial design from past centuries into graphic artworks.
Inna Krause has lived in Valencia since 2023, and in this series, she explores the urban landscape, showing that even everyday infrastructure details can become part of cultural heritage and a source of inspiration.
The exhibition will run from April 30 to May 9, 2026, at the Junta Municipal de Ciutat Vella. Visitors can attend the exhibition free of charge.
📍 Location: Plaza d’Alfons el Magnànim, 1D, Ciutat Vella, Valencia
🕒 Time: Monday to Friday from 12:00 to 20:00
🎟 Entrance: free
