DroneArt Show, a large-scale performance blending live classical music with cutting-edge drone technology, will take place in Spain in spring 2026. The new edition of the project promises to be even more ambitious: the number of drones will increase from 500 to 1,000, new visual scenes will be added, and the show will be staged on a limited number of dates only.
On March 13 and 14, DroneArt Show will be held in Alicante at the Estadi Municipal d’Atletisme. Audiences will experience an open-air concert by a string quartet accompanied by a choreographed drone light show, with drones “painting” figures in the sky inspired by the music. The performance will last approximately one hour.
In Madrid, the show is scheduled for March 27 and 28 at the Hipódromo de la Zarzuela.
The program includes Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons, Debussy’s The Snow Is Dancing, Saint-Saëns’ The Cuckoo, Rimsky-Korsakov’s Flight of the Bumblebee, and Paul Dukas’ symphonic poem The Sorcerer’s Apprentice. During the concert, the musicians will be surrounded by hundreds of candles, creating a dramatic, theatrical atmosphere.
Organizers emphasize that DroneArt Show is not merely a drone spectacle but a fully developed artistic project. The show has previously toured major cities including Paris, Rome, Berlin, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. In Spain, performances will be limited to just a few dates.
Tickets go on sale on December 23 at 12:00 PM. Those who join the waiting list will gain early access to ticket sales with a 15% discount. Waiting list registration is available for both the Alicante and Madrid shows.
