From 5 to 7 June 2026, the International Wind Festival will take place in Castellón. The main venues are the Pinar and Gurugú beaches, along with the Aeroclub de Castellón. The opening will be held on Friday 5 June at the Moll de Costa. Entry to most events is free.

This year, the festival promises more than 150 activities, around 140 pilots from 22 countries, and up to 800 kites in the sky at once. New features include giant LED-lit kites, giant inflatable figures on Pinar beach, a drone show, a night-time Glow Beach Tennis tournament under ultraviolet lighting, and a crafts market by the Aeroclub.

The festival will also offer free hot-air balloon flights on Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM from the Aeroclub. Advance booking is required — information will be posted on the Aeroclub's social media. In addition, 200 free flights on a two-seater aircraft will be raffled among customers at businesses in the Grao district in the days before the festival.

You can reach the festival on special shuttle buses from Plaza Borrull every half hour, by tram on line 1, or by car — additional car parks will open near the CdT del Grao and the Impala sports centre.
