Valencia Airport is launching a direct connection to the Moroccan capital for the first time in its history. The Valencia–Rabat route will be operated by Ryanair starting from the 2026 summer season. The new service creates a direct link with a Moroccan market that has growing potential both for tourism and for Moroccan travellers living in the Valencian Community.
The second new route of the season is Helsinki, which will be operated by Finnair. With this addition, Valencia will complete its connections to all four Scandinavian capitals: Oslo, Stockholm, Copenhagen, and Helsinki.
In addition to these two new destinations, the season will bring 12 more routes. Among them are Wizz Air flights to London Luton and Gatwick, Venice, Turin, and Iași; Volotea flights to Florence, Bordeaux, and Lille; ITA Airways to Rome; Dan Air to Bucharest; Israir to Tel Aviv; Ryanair to Warsaw; and Air Nostrum to Melilla.
The 2026 summer season is expected to become record-breaking for Valencia Airport, with 4,697,020 seats available — 11% more than in 2025 — across 108 routes operated by 40 airlines.
If you are not planning a big trip outside Valencia just yet but still want new experiences, La Cotorra has collected several interesting locations you can visit without needing to stay overnight.
