The Mercadona supermarket chain has launched a moisturising body cream with matcha and Centella asiatica. According to Spanish media, it could become one of the most sought-after beauty products of the summer. The cream, from Mercadona's own brand Deliplus, is sold in a 200 ml package for just 4 euros, and is currently available in stores at a discount, priced at 3.50 euros.
The cream's distinctive feature is an unusual formula made of two textures. One part looks like a clear, light gel and gives the skin a feeling of freshness; the other is a denser lotion that nourishes the skin. Together they soften, hydrate, and smooth the skin.
The ingredients include matcha, Centella asiatica (one of the most sought-after ingredients in cosmetics in recent years), and hyaluronic acid. Matcha, known primarily as the base for a drink, is being used increasingly often in cosmetic formulas as well.
The cream suits all skin types. It's recommended to apply it once a day, for example, after a shower, massaging it in with upward movements. This helps the product absorb better while also stimulating the lymphatic system and improving blood circulation.
Mercadona's own cosmetics line, Deliplus, regularly receives good reviews from customers. In recent times, the chain has already released several products that have become popular. Among them, the anti-cellulite cream Deliplus Tratamiento Reductor Sculpt Intense and a nail polish in summer shades.
