The Lidl supermarket chain has launched its new seasonal collection of decorative plants with prices starting as low as €2. The new arrivals have already hit stores, targeting those looking to quickly and affordably decorate their balconies, terraces, or gardens before summer begins.
For fans of exotic flora, Lidl is offering Strelitzia (Bird of Paradise) at a 35% discount—priced at €12.99 instead of €19.99. These are large, striking plants ideal for terraces and spacious indoor rooms. Coconut palms are also on sale for €11.99, down from €15.99.
For outdoor terraces and gardens, more sun-resilient options are available. Oleander can be purchased for €4.99, and starting April 24, sales begin for Dipladenia at just €2.99. The latter is widely considered one of the best choices for warm climates, as it blooms abundantly, thrives in the sun, and works perfectly for balconies where it can climb a support.
By the end of the week, the inventory will expand to include Bougainvillaea for €6.99, Lavender for €2.99, various indoor green plants for €3.49, and larger decorative palms for €15.99. A special deal is available for Geraniums—Lidl Plus cardholders can purchase them for €1.99 instead of €2.99. Geraniums are known for their long blooming period, heat resistance, and low-maintenance requirements.
