Spain's 2026 summer sales start earlier than usual. The largest clothing chains have announced the start dates of their discounts, most of which fall in the last week of June. Since 2012, each retailer has set its own dates, and today the battle for the customer begins long before the traditional 1 July.
A number of brands are already offering discounts. These are Bimba y Lola, Desigual, Springfield, Calzedonia, and Intimissimi. In some cases, the discount is applied selectively by category.
Mango opens the season on Monday 22 June. For members of the loyalty programme, access to the discounts will open even earlier: closed sales for registered users will take place over the weekend of 20–21 June.
The Swedish chain H&M will also begin its sales earlier, on 22 June, although members of the H&M Membership programme will get access to some promotions earlier.
All the brands of the Inditex group — Zara, Bershka, Pull&Bear, Stradivarius, Oysho, Lefties — will launch their sales online on Wednesday 24 June, and in physical stores on Thursday 25 June. Access to the discounts traditionally opens first in the app, then on the website, and only then in the stores. The launch time in the apps differs by brand: Zara — at 9:00 PM, Oysho — at 8:00 PM, and the rest of the group's brands — at 7:00 PM. Massimo Dutti makes an exception for newsletter subscribers: they will get access to the discounts as early as Tuesday 23 June at 8:00 PM.
El Corte Inglés will join in on Friday 26 June. In past campaigns it has offered "maximum discounts" of up to 40%.
Parfois has not yet announced an exact date, but based on the experience of previous years it is expected in the last week of June.
Each autonomous region sets its own recommended sales periods. In the Valencian Community, the official summer sales period runs from 29 June to 5 September, making it one of the earliest in the country. In Madrid it runs from 21 June to 21 September, and in most other regions from 1 July to 31 August or 30 September.
