Australia’s Comedy Queen Lands in Madrid: Celeste Barber Brings "Backup Dancer" Show

Australian comedian and social media icon Celeste Barber will perform in Madrid as part of her 2026 European tour. The show is scheduled for 27 April at 20:00 at the Teatro Rialto. The performance will be conducted in English.

Often hailed as the "Queen of Australian Comedy," Barber gained global fame through her viral celebrity parodies on Instagram. Today, she boasts over 9.7 million followers, including A-list actresses such as Reese Witherspoon, Amy Schumer, Jennifer Lopez, and Drew Barrymore.

In 2017, Barber was named "Funniest Woman on Instagram" by WhoHaha.com, and in 2019, she was included in Variety’s "10 Comics to Watch" list.

Her latest tour, BACKUP DANCER, has already visited over 50 cities worldwide. In this new set, Barber blends social satire with awkward personal anecdotes. She also candidly shares her lifelong dream—to become a backup dancer for Janet Jackson.

The European leg of the tour covers 11 cities, including London, Helsinki, Zurich, Brussels, and Munich.
